Galapaw is a service run by Mathias Vaccaro, Via Padre Paolo Meroni 8, Roma, Italia ("we", "us"). By using galapaw.com or buying a portrait you agree to these terms.
What Galapaw does
You upload a photo of yourself and a photo of your pet, pick a style, and our AI paints a portrait of you together. You see a watermarked preview for free. If you like it, you can buy the high-resolution file without the watermark at the price shown on the site before you pay.
Portraits are created by artificial intelligence. Each one is unique and may not be a perfect likeness, which is why you always see it before paying.
Orders and payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Prices include VAT or sales tax where it applies. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the payment: paddle.com/legal/invoiced-consumer-terms.
Delivery
The high-resolution file is delivered digitally on the site as soon as the payment is confirmed, usually within a few seconds. You can download it again from My portraits for 12 months after payment; after that we delete it (see the Privacy policy). We recommend keeping a copy.
Your photos
You keep all rights to the photos you upload. You allow us to use them only to create and deliver your portrait.
You may only upload photos you have the right to use, of people who have agreed to it. If a photo shows a minor, you must be their parent or guardian or have their permission.
You may not use Galapaw to create content that is illegal, sexual, violent, hateful or that harasses or deceives anyone, including portraits meant to pass as a real photo of someone. We may refuse or remove such content.
Galapaw creates new portraits of you and your pet; it is not a tool to swap faces or to put someone's face on another image. Do not upload photos of celebrities or other public figures.
Your portrait
Once paid, you may use your portrait for any personal purpose: print it, frame it, give it as a gift and share it online. We won't use your portrait in our marketing unless you give us permission.
The Galapaw name, website, styles and software belong to us.
Refunds
You can ask for a refund within 14 days of your purchase. See the Refund policy.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Galapaw available and working well, but we can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live. Within those limits, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Suspension
We may suspend access to Galapaw for anyone who seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, commits fraud, or puts the service or other people at risk.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can go to the courts there.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to an order is the one published when you placed it.
